Cafe for breakfast & lunch. 2 minute from SUNPIKA, it's on the 2nd floor.

■Shinpachi-shokudo
Open from 7AM, just a few place that you can eat Japanese standard Teishoku style breakfast in Otsuka. Not special but normal healthy Japanese breakfast. Fish set meals are recommended.

■EAT GOOD PLACE
A cozy and spacious cafe facing a park, about a 10 minute walk from SUNPIKA. They are mainly open for breakfast and lunch, and sometimes they are open at dinner, but please check the store information.

■Yakitori "Musubi" / 結火
Opened in 2021, the highest grade "Yakitori" restaurant around here. Reservations must be made at least a few days in advance and must be made over the phone. Only one course is available, each piece is carefully grilled and served one by one, continuously until you tell it to stop. There are many wines, and it has a stylish atmosphere. There's only a counter table forwards the main grill. It is located on the 8th floor next to the Otsuka station north gate.

■Yakitori "Souten" / 蒼天
High level "Yakitori" restaurant loved by locals. Opened in 2009. Reservation is necessary and you can choose course from 3 different types. You can also place additional orders after that. All kinds of charcoal grilled chickens are fresh and will be the best quality. Enjoy the pairing with sake, wines and beers with Yakitori. 1 minute from SUNPIKA.

■Yakiniku "DAIJU"
This is a relatively new restaurant that opened in April 2020. The staff and customers are young and lively. The meat is of high quality and reasonably priced. This is a gas grill, not a charcoal grill. Reservations are required in advance for the evening.

■Yakiniku "Sansuien"
Charcoal-grilled Yakiniku. A long-established high-class Yakiniku restaurant that has been in business for about 60 years in Otsuka. Reservation is necessary for dinner.

■Yakiniku "Sankouen"
Charcoal-grilled Yakiniku. The place is new and clean. Also the lunch set is reasonable and nice.

■Senya
For lunch, it offers fresh fish and seafood lunch set in Otsuka. You have to wait in line for a while at noon. Menus are all in Japanese.

■Ramen "Nakiryu"
Original Tantan noodles. One of the cheapest Michelin starred restaurants. Reservations only by the numbered ticket system from the morning of the day in front of the restaurant. Reception and ticket issuance begins at 8:00 a.m. on business days. Reception and ticket issuance for the day can be done on tablet devices installed in the store. Reservation times are in 30-minute increments starting from 11:00~ (11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:30) Opening days are flexible so make sure to confirm before you go.

■Ramen "Nii"
Modern Ramen with some original arrangements. 1 minute from SUNPIKA.

■Izakaya "HANA" / オレンジワインと日本酒 居酒屋
Nice quality Izakaya food with Sake & Wine. Modern touch of Japanese Izakaya, located on 5th floor of a building 30 seconds from SUNPIKA. 
有名店「大塚はなおか」の新しい姉妹店。少し値段は高めだが美味しい。

■Sushi SUEHIRO / 末廣鮨
Very local and at home sushi restaurant owned by generations of a family for about 80 years. Fresh fish and nice traditional techniques. Also reasonable for lunch set is 1,000yen.

■Soba "Tsutaya" / 名代手打そば 蔦や
Soba buckwheat noodles, professional master makes Soba for 40 years, very local and at home atmosphere. Also nice for lunch.

■Tonkatsu "Sansetsu"
Very local and wonderful Tonkatsu restaurant, owned by the family that feels homey and retro. Tonkatsu is voluminous and delicious, also grilled ginger pork is recommended.

■Tonkatsu "Itsugyo"
Small Tonkatsu "fried pork" restaurant owned by Chinese family. Well known traditional Japanese Tonkatsu and well-chosen pork. Easy to go alone.

■Tokiwa Shokudo / ときわ食堂
Local neighborhood dining hall. Syokudo and Teishoku restaurant. For usual using at lunch or dinner with the set of rice and miso soup included.  Easy to go alone.

■eightdays dining
Stylish dining & cafe restaurant, nice food and coffee and deserts. Breakfast is served from 7:30am on Saturdays and Sundays, and on other days it is open for lunch and dinner.

■Tofu restaurant "Enjyu" / ゑん重
Very healthy non-oily Tofu course. Also nice for lunch set. located on the 1st floor a building 30 seconds from SUNPIKA. 

■Onigiri BONGO / ぼんご
A famous Japanese rice balls specialty store. Lunch time and day time are extremely crowded. With 2 or more hours of waiting time. Lesser waiting hours during night time, the best is an hour or two  before it close. 
あまりにも人気のため、日中の訪問はものすごく並びます。夜、なるべく閉店に近いほど混んでいなくなります。

■Shanghai chicken "SHOKAKU-RO"
Shanghai Chicken and Tantan noodles are recommended. It's in the narrow back alley with a Chinese atmosphere. Great to enjoy the casual Chinese food.

■Chinese Hot pot "KAE" / 四川料理 花重
High quality Sichuan Chinese hot pot with a herbal taste. Reservation one day ahead is necessary. Located on the basement floor of a building 30 seconds from SUNPIKA. One of my favorite restaurant!!!

■Garlic Mania TOKYO OTSUKA
Who just loves garlic! Local and casual restaurant. Their slogan is " GARLIC HOLIC".

■Yappari India
Best Indian cuisine in Otsuka by Indian chef. Queuing is necessary for lunch time so best to go before or after the peak time. 

■Katchar Batchar
Best Indian cuisine in Otsuka by Japanese chef.  Indian cuisine with a mild Japanese touch. Must reservation and opens only for dinner time.

■Korean Cafe Dining Hanok
A cozy Korean restaurant facing the tram rail. Recommended for lunch.
都電に面した、ちょっとお洒落な韓国料理屋さん。ランチも良い。

■riddle. Coffee & Bar
Small and cozy restaurant, Lunch&Dinner, coffee, craft beers and wines with nice foods. 30 seconds from SUNPIKA.
ランチも夕食も美味しい。コーヒー、クラフトビールにワインなど楽しめます。

■Kitchen ABC
A Japanese-style western restaurant. A casual and reasonable restaurant that has been loved by residents for a long time. The meals are voluminous. Easy to go alone.

■Fruit SUGI
The place is a small fruit store, in the store they serve parfait with seasonal fruit. Just a few seats is set so reservation necessary. Select shop of the best seasonal fresh fruit available.

■Miyaho
The ramen at noon is highly recommended. Reservation required for dinner time, but Japanese only menu. And maybe a little difficult who you know enough to choose the first choice by the phone call in Japanese. High level Izakaya.

■Izakaya Motto / 地酒や もっと
Many kinds of Japanese sake and many Japanese dishes for Sake, nice quality, but just a little expensive. Better to make a reservation.

■YODARE
Traditional Japanese casual IZAKAYA which specializes in seafood. Many kinds of SAKE and Otsumami. 1 minute from SUNPIKA.
海鮮系の得意な日本酒メインが自慢の居酒屋。

■FUKUHARU
Grilled pork Izakaya, the third generation since established, friendly owner with local atmosphere. Only Japanese menus.
三代目に継ぐもつ焼き店、気さくな店主と雰囲気のあるお店。

■Kushikatsu Tanaka (English menu available)
Casual and reasonable Izakaya with many kinds of Kushiage. It is one of the well done quality Izakaya chain in Japan.

■Smoke Beer Factory / NAMACHAん Brewing
A place where you can casually enjoy smoked and craft beer.
気軽に燻製とクラフトビールを楽しめる店。

■Bar Moo
Local casual bar and good foods. Friendly staff.

■Titans Craft Beer Taproom & Bottle Shop
Beer pub, many kinds of craft beer selection and some "Gyoza" for snacks, but the beers can be little bit pricey compared to other bars. The place has a space to chill in 2F & 3F.
多数のクラフトビールがあり、2,3階もくつろげるスペースがあるが、ビールの単価がやや高い。

■Bar Corazon
Local bar. The owner speaks only Japanese, and just a few English. It's on the 2nd floor.
地元の人が多いバー、気さくなお兄さんバーテンダー。

■Shisha baum
Chill space for shisha and some alcohols. Feels a little expensive, but the space is relaxing and hygienic.
